The studio · formerly So Long Saturn

Video and AI for the industries most people overlook.

This studio used to be called So Long Saturn. These days it's my name on the door. I make cinematic brand films, documentary series and YouTube channels for ranching, trucking, dealers and the trades, and I build the AI systems that let a small studio keep up with a lot of footage.

What I make

Most brands I talk to are sitting on years of footage: walkarounds, customer stories, a service manager who's weirdly good on camera. Folders are where good ideas go to quietly become ghosts, so a lot of my work starts by digging through what you already have and finding the video worth making first.

  • Brand films and documentary series. Long-form stories with real people in them, cut to make somebody feel something before they buy.
  • YouTube channels. Strategy, packaging (titles, thumbnails, the whole fuss) and editing that keeps people watching.
  • Shorts and ads cut from footage you already own.
  • AI systems for your content. A catalog of your library, an idea engine that reads your footage and customer comments, and a room where your team can see what's in the works.

Receipts

8K → 350KYouTube subscribers in one year at BuildWitt. I was a lead on the team: the edit style, the process and the packaging.
243Kviews on TigerTough's BACKBONE launch film. Their brand videos had been drawing about a hundred.
$3M+raised in REX's pre-seed round, with the investor films and ads I made in the pitch.
20 yrsshooting, editing, directing and producing, from Fortune 500 companies to a pile of companies you've never heard of.

Selected films

TigerTough · BACKBONE launch film

The first film in a documentary series for a seat-cover company whose customers drive trucks for a living. 243K views, and the episodes after it kept going.

  • REX. Brand and creative as Chief Creative Officer.

How it starts

  • 1. Book thirty minutes. Tell me what you sell, who buys it, and what you've already got on a drive somewhere.
  • 2. I dig in. Your footage, your comments and reviews, what's performed and what quietly died. That's where the first idea usually is.
  • 3. You get a plan you can see. The first video I'd make, why, and what it takes. If it's a fit, we go. If it isn't, the idea is yours to keep.

Got a drive full of footage and a story nobody's told yet?

Grab a time and tell me about it. Thirty minutes, no deck, and I'll leave ya alone if it's not a fit.
